Back with Pictures!
ETS: I added a TON of photos into an album labeled "House"
The trip was awesome 
Inspection went well and we are going through with the purchase of the home!!! 
The house is HUGE - okay, maybe not huge, but we've been living in a 1 bedroom basement apartment so to us it's huge 
It's pretty roomy for a townhome, just about 2300 sq feet - which is actually bigger than the homes we were looking at and we love that it's two floors  Also, there is a TON of closet space which is great....
The neighborhood is so nice and the community is gorgeous....we are really excited and we can't wait to close!!!
I only have a few pics from the trip at work - but I'll post them all into an album when I get home
From the front:
I love the paver sidewalks/driveways and we have two palms in front of our house that I love (if you notice the green paint in the middle next to the garage is off - the HOA will be fixing that):
Our mailbox is 1700:
You can see into the kitchen through the cut out in the wall - we plan on re-doing the kitchen as soon as we move in:
Looking up:
A view from the stairs - you can see how large the cut-out in the wall is compared to my Dad:
The steps:
Another shot from the steps (it's hard to see in these photos but the stairs turn and there is a small landing in the middle) again you can see the size of the window compared to my Dad:
This is the downstairs living room:
A shot of the sliders - you can see how large they are compared to my 6ft DH:
This is the dining area:
Small hall - kitchen is to the left, front door is straight ahead and the stairs are to the right:
Here is a shot of the tub in the master - that isn't a crack in the tile, it's just a reflection:

This is one of the upstairs bedrooms (DH was teasing me - I'm saying "Baby's Room" ):

To be honest, I still can't believe we have a closing date!
I was VERY nervous b/c we put an offer on this house without seeing it - we just saw a few photos and some video my Dad took for us - I was afraid one of us wouldn't like it - and we weren't originally looking for a townhouse.....I felt like there was a lot of pressure to like it b/c we were FINALLY in contract - but when we finally saw it I immediately fell in love....
This house spanks ALL of the other houses we tried to get.....so now I know that everything happens for a reason and I am SO GLAD we didn't end up with any of the others we tried for....I really feel like our patience paid off.....now we just have to get through closing - which is set for 9/4

That is awesome Nik! I'm so glad you guys fell in love with the house. Sometimes it pays off to wait and that the others fell through on you. 9/4....is right around the corner. That is great. You will be decorating before you know it.

Yep - this is in Florida....
We knew we had to move out of NY if we wanted to afford a house and kids on one salary - my DH can transfer offices and we had a few options (Orlando, Bermuda, Dublin)
We figured Florida would be best - and my parents/sister/grandparents are down there.....they will be about 30-40 mins from us.....and DH's job in Orlando will be a 40 min drive - we picked a spot that was right in between both his job and my family....
It just came down to us wanting a better life - we wanted a nice house, a low mortgage payment, we wanted to still have money to play with - we didn't want to worry about me working....we love NYC but we don't want to struggle....so hopefully this will work out for us....

Those were some choices. Dublin wow. That would have been an adjustment.
I love your reasoning, I think it's very smart. It's a beautiful townhouse. I love the fact that it's all nuetral just like it was waiting for you to come and make it your own.

I work full time now - I've been a working lady since I'm 16 When we first go down we'll only have 1 car and DH will need it to travel so until our lease is up in March we'll probably keep the 1 car and I'll stay home - then when we turn the car in we'll get two and I'll try and find something part time - I can't imagine not having my own paycheck and it's going to be boring and lonely - I def need something so I can get out and meet people - it's just a matter of figuring it out once we are down there....Then when we have kids I'll probably stop working for awhile - that is the plan - that if I "want" to stay home I can....but it would foolish not to work in the meantime b/c the extra money can't hurt - plus it will give me a chance to socialize....
I'm actually really sad about leaving my job - I try not to think about it It still doesn't seem real yet so the emotions about leaving haven't really sunk in yet......I work with great people and I can't complain about my job - so it's going to be hard to leave my friends here - I see these people EVERY day - some of them are like family to me - I'm hoping that we all still keep in touch after I am gone - I plan on visiting NY a lot so I have to make it a point to visit my old co-workers/friends/family....

The community is in a part of Florida called Viera....
Closing is set for 9/4 - hopefully we can get a mortgage secured in that amount of time - it's a little rushed but I'm hoping it works out....
