Smell from A/C?

The last 2 nights I have turned the Ac on in our bedroom to cool off the room while we are downstairs

When we come into the room it sort of smells like a cleaning solution. I tried to clean the filter but that hasnt helped. Its over 92 upstairs and we need the AC. The unit is only about 2 years old.

ANyone know what it could be?

We are on the 2nd floor so I dint think an animal gotinto the unit - its a wall unit. Plus I figured it would smell way worse if something dead was in there!! Dh and I feel fine every monring. No headaches, etc. I figured if it was really bad the AC wouldnt work.

Any ideas?

With all of the rain we've had you might have some water in the unit
