Mine did with dd a year ago, said i was having a girl, and here i am and yesterday when i went, she said i am TOTALLY having a boy..

do you think its a total guess? She said she was a very experienced eye...

hmmmm...either way, SOOOO excited!

Thats at 12 weeks, right? My sono tech didn't guess, but a doctor came in to go over it and seemed pretty confident it was a boy...well at my level 2 it was a girl and at growth sono yesterday (31wks) I made them check again and its a girl.

Nope. My DH asked if she could tell and she didn't even answer him. (We will be using another NICER tech for the level 2!)

Yes. And she was right - it was confirmed at our Level II.

yep, our tech guessed at 12 weeks

she said

were expecting a in six weeks!

she DID read us the riot act saying it was very early, but she said she thought "70%boy, based on the angle of things"

maybe she was looking at the cord?!

mine said he wouldnt even bother looking there bc his guess was as good as mine - everything pretty much looks the same. Gave me a 50-50 shot at what we were having LOL

With #1 and #2 they guesses girl and they were correct. With #3 she guessed girl and we had a little boy! I winder if her answer would have been different if I didn't mention that I already had two girls....

Basically the parts look pretty much the same at that week of gestation...

HOWEVER..the can tell by the angle of the dangle. But the tricky part has something to with a gray area. Dont quote me on the measurements b/c I dont really know specifically what they are but essentially under 30 degrees is a girl and greater than 60 degrees is a boy...the area in between is open to interpretation....

I found out boy at my NT....and the doctor was right.

My tech wouldn't even venture a guess - it's a crap shoot at that point. We just waited until the Level II. I did do Intelligender at 15 weeks and it said boy, and that's what we're having!

Mine said boy at 11.5 weeks and its been confirmed again and again (he's not shy, we have several pictures which confirm his gender

But, I think I remember that they are more likely to get it correct early when it's a boy, girls can be more difficult to determine.

I asked and the tech said that it was too early to tell... Guess I have to continue to wait. And now DH isn't even sure he wants to know. LOL!

Mine did, said we were having a boy and it was confirmed at my 18wk sono.

my ultrascreen is monday and hope the tech will take guess (although my friend went to the same place I am going and they wouldn't for her so they prob won't for me either LOL)

yup, mine did, she guessed girl, and she was right!

she guessed based on the angle too.

thank you for all the replies!!!! She did totally seem confident..she did mention the angle as well...well, part of me thinks i shouldnt have told dh, because hes dying for another and i think hed partly be crushed since my ds is from my first marriage...and him and i already have a lil girl..
well, we shall see!!!

When i was pg with my Ds the Dr. guessed boy at the 12 wk and was right. This time he guessed girl - will find out in a few weeks if he was right twice!
