God help me - i'm frumpy/ugly and need help (edited)
I have lost all hope on myself and let everything go. I need to do one thing to break the car wreck which is me - so I figured a new hair style.
I am in very bad shape!!!!!
EDITED
Visited a new salon in Lindenhurst - Andrew Steven Salon, LOVED IT!
Me as of Friday - Eh
Hair style I used as a ref.:
And now me!
Hair is a bit poofed due to humidity & she cut a lot off because it was dead - a month will make it relax more and be perfect. LOVE the bangs have to train them not to split. Not the best pic (yet again) but figured while i was on the phone to upload it.
Color I picked more natural covered the bad highlight job I did and I am very happy with it. Thank you all for the support.

you are ridiculous! you are beautiful!!! but i know how you feel. we are so much more critical of ourselves then others are of us.
that said i think that bangs would look great on you

they did something like that on a woman on what not to wear and she was even more gorgeous

Have you ever had bangs? I never had and I think I would look horrible.
Maybe instead, if you are still hesitant to get bangs, you should try to first color and cut/shape your hair. For some reason I am seeing you with a lighter auburn color, sort of like the color in your first celebrity pic.

Last time i had bangs:
Maybe red is the way to go again. I mean I always liked it but i was tired of coloring my hair after going from black, purple, pink etc. Thank you for the suggestions keep them coming. UGh i really feel so gross lately, need to spark myself into a positive feeling again.

just go for the bangs - worst thing is you hate them and you pin them back until the grow....
i just cut mine and i like them - sometimes i keep them back - but change is good...i say go for it
and i love the first style - i even like the color too

Jenn, I think you could deifnitely pull off the bangs. And I think you could pull of the red hair too (more on the darker side like the girl in the first pic you posted)... it would compliment your creamy skin so well!

You are NOT ugly. I think you are pretty.
But, a new hairstyle would be a great idea. Def get some bangs and maybe put some reddish highlights in your hair.
Can't wait to see the new hair.

I like the hairdo in the pic right under yours. But that seems like you are going to have to blow it out every morning since you have wavy hair. Are you willing to do that? ( I only say this bc I am too lazy to do anything other than gel/hairspray/air dry on my hair in the morning.)

I was going to say how much the bottom picture made you look like Kate Nash, and I realised it was Kate Nash. She has hair thats quite wavy, and if you google her you will see that her fringe is straighter than the rest, so you might be able to get away with just blowing out the front
Do a google images search for her...

Great. Did it feel like a factory where you get moved around from person to person? I Hate those kinds of places.
What were the prices like? I tried looking online but their site is still coming soon.

no one person did the color, wash, cut. I like that a lot do not like being switched around. The color was $50 and the cut was $35/40 but the blow out is included with that.

Great, thanks. I hate when it feels like a factory and you're pushed around from person to person. Seems so impersonal. Maybe I'll go after I dye my hairs to get rid of the grey.
