stupid question about eyebrow threading
i am currently trying (semi-successfully) to grow my brows out. i've always done them myself and i go between plucking them too much or not enough.
my question is how does the threader know how to shape your brows? do they just do what they want, or do they ask you what "shape" you want?
TIA!

The will ask you or you just tell them.
I ususally go to the same place so they tend to follow the shape and clean them up but last time, someone didnt do them so good so I had to tell her to fix them and she knew, like the arch...I like that on me and it wasnt there.

IMO- threading is torture!!! waxing is 123 (exept the horrid pluking) but threading- OUCH!!! ive done it 3-4x and it hasnt gotten any better.

I prefer threading, it does hurt more but I font break out from it ! Just went today to Pooga Salon in Levittown or wantagh (not sure ) and it was $7 for lip and brow !

It's in Levittown on Gardiner's Ave.
As for threading, I usually go for a clean up and they follow the natural shape of my brow. It definitely hurts more than waxing, but I feel like it turns out better.

Re: stupid question about eyebrow threading
I always go to the same lady. She knows me by now. I really just go for clean-ups now, but in the beginning, we worked little by little on growing out the ends and making the arch even on both sides. My brows used to be thick in the center and thinned out, but I grew them so they would be more uniformly thick all across.
BTW, I don't find that threading hurts at all and it is by far cleaner and last longer than waxing!

ITA! I have been having my brows threaded for years and it still hurts like hell! But I like how they turn out and I got burned one too many times with wax so I wont go back to that.

My grandma actually gets her brow and lip threaded...... She says the brow isn't bad but that when they did her lip, she saw stars! My grandma is a real trooper!
