Re: Gymboree spin off.. Need more info
I did it at 6 months and I didn't feel she got anything out of it. Now she's 21 months and I am considering signing her up again bc I think she'd really enjoy it. I think it depends on the kid!

My DD loved Music Together. I figured we would do Gymbo once she was more mobile.

We did it from 6-10 months and that can be a good age...Level II or III I think is good. But, I didn't like it b/c they kept letting in soooo many people for make-ups and trials. Many of the classes had 18+!!!!!! For that price, I expect more so I won't go back. It was a zoo on those days. Maybe it was just my particular time/class.

Re: Gymboree spin off.. Need more info
We just signed up for classes at "My Gym" and DS is 16 months old. It's strange because he is having fun - but having fun on his own. At this age they say they don't really interact with one another yet and they are still off playing and exploring by themselves. So I am not sure how much "interaction" he is getting - I mean he SEES the other kids which is good because he doesn't get exposure to kids during the week since my mom watches him - but I know that he is having fun so I feel that it's worth it.

Re: Gymboree spin off.. Need more info
I just started with DS at 17 months, and I think that the older he gets, the more he is getting out of it. Now at 21 months, I think he's getting alot out of it...and I plan on continuing with it this fall.

ITA. We did Music Together for DD at 6 months and it was completely age appropriate for her. She loved it. We started Gymboree at 12 months and it was great. I don't know how much the younger infants really get out of Gymboree.

Re: Gymboree spin off.. Need more info
DS has been enrolled since 6 months (he's now 21 mos). We really use it to its fullest though and he goes to play gym EVERY day in addition to his weekly class. He loves it and has learned a lot of skills from it. It's also helped with socialization since its really the only exposure he gets to other kids especially in the winter. I think it's worth it!

just signed my 10 month old to my gym. He does hsi own thing but I like that he has to take turns and share toys. he needs to learn that bc he is very bossy and demanding rightnow. He loves crawling around and watching the other kids so I think it's good

Re: Gymboree spin off.. Need more info
We just started at 14 months. Part of me feels I should have started earlier (DD is watched at home and has no interaction with other babies).
