When did your belly "drop"?
Several people this week have told me that it looks like my belly dropped along with giving the comment, "You're going to go early". Just wondering if there has been a connection for you?
So 2 questions: At what point in your pregnancy did it appear that you had dropped?
How soon after dropping did your DC arrive? (Was it earlier than due date, right on time, or after due date)

I've dropped in stages. I was always carrying low, but around 36 weeks I dropped. Then around 37.5/38 weeks I dropped even lower (you could tell by looking at me AND my midwife told me I went from -5 station to -3 station). Now at 39 weeks I'm even lower. It looks like my belly is just going to fall to the floor  Still no baby though...

I carried high this whole PG ... looking at pics, baby dropped at 36 weeks - however, not enough. Its now 2 weeks later and baby is still not engaged in my pelvis, despite constant contractions and being 3.5cm dilated.

I started to drop at 34 weeks. Other people noticed before I did.
I'm 36 weeks, and I can feel a difference. I had to lower the ironing board so my belly didn't hit it, bending over the sink when washing my face is more difficult, and my boobs aren't being "pushed up" by my belly anymore. I've lost my natural push-up bra!  I even sit differently now.
As for the comments that I'm going to go early.....that's what everyone says, everyone without a medical degree....
I think they are just tired of looking at me. I saw my OB today, and my cervix is closed, and she doesn't think I'll go early.
