North Shore Schools??
Does anyone live in Sea Cliff or Glen Head and have children that attend the north shore school district?? Can you tell me anything about the towns or the schools. Are there town pools, parks, other recreation like things. DH and I are house hunting and are considering this area....but I don't really know a lot about it.

My parents live in Sea Cliff and my brother went through the schools there. It is supposed to be an excellent district- very small classes. I think the h.s has a graduating class of about 200 every year. There are some beaches-- Tappen Beach also has a pool. There are many parks in Sea Cliff as well. The town is adorable and everyone seems to know each other!

I just moved to Glen Head in December. My daughters are 3 months old so they are not in school yet. But I love the area and hear such great things about the school district. Also everyone is extremely friendly. I know there is a beach that a lot of people go to on Shore Rd (not sure of the beach name).

i work in Glen Cove and know there are several parks and beaches within the area and Sea Cliff and Glen Head are just a stones throw away. I've also heard the school district is very good!

My friend lives in Sea Cliff and has a son.
He's not in school yet, but I can ask her.
She is very involved in the community & loves it there.
Someone else I know is a principal of an elementary school there and I can ask her any questions if you like.
