Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince (Spoilers)
So, I just saw the movie today. My initial reaction - disappointment. I still enjoyed the movie, but I was expecting to see scenes that I didn't get to see - the battle scene at Hogwarts, the funeral for Dumbledore, Ginny & Dean breaking up, the Quiddich game.
And WHY did they burn the Weasley house? I just reread the book a week ago and that storyline wasn't in the book!!!!

I am going to see it tomorrow and I heard about them burning the Weasley house and not making a big thing out of that battle scene at Hogwarts and Dumbledore's death.. I reread the book too..

I totally agree. I was waiting for the great battle at the end. Was so dissapointed that they didn't do it.
They also should of explained the WHOLE Voldermots past.
Was expecting to see the funeral as well.
I thought they could of made the movie a bit longer to add these.

I didn't finish re reading the book but didn't they get attacked at Ron's older brothers wedding. Because they left out the older brother from the books in the movies maybe they made up that scene to have a small battle.
I was dissapointed that they left out the fighting scene at Hogwarts too.

I am worried aboout how Deathly Hallows is going to play out on the big screen.. The whole start of them being on the run happened at Bill and Fleur's wedding and they didn't even touch on that in this book.. SO how will they end up at Shell Cottage once they escape Malfoy Manor.. and what about the house elves...
