Anyone put on Procardia?
The last 2 days I was sent to L&D @ Good Sam to monitor contractions and have pre-term labor testing. Last night the dr ended up putting me on procardia to stop my contractions (I am only 25 weeks).
Today my ankles are a little swollen and I have nausea and a headache. Just wondering if anyone else has been on this medication and what side affects they have had?

i had no side effects (i was put on it after giving birth) - however, i saw my cardiologist last week and he was surprised (and happy) at that.
he expected me to have some swelling....and was really shocked that i didn't.
though - i have to say - i've had a headache since i left the hospital (and i've been on BP meds SINCE).

I was on it from 28 weeks to 36 weeks for pre-term labor and I'm now going through a with drawl from the meds. I've been so sick the past few days since stopping it on friday. My ob said this is normal. On it thought I had no side effects at all.

Yes, I was on Procardia from 26wks until 36 weeks. After every single dose (I took it 4x/day) I would get headaches, flushed from head to toe, hot flashes, and a little swelling in the legs. All completely normal side effects.
