DS wakes up multiple times a night after sleeping through the night for 2 months. Has this happened to anyone?
DS has been sleeping 6+ hours stretches for the past 2 months. We didn't really train him but he just slept through the night on his own.
All of a sudden, he is waking up multiple times per night. We stopped swaddling him a few weeks ago because he was escaping but he was sleeping just fine. Now he will jerk around, wake himself up, need to be coddled/nursed back to sleep..only to wake up yet again in an hr or two and repeat. I don't know why this is happening. 
Has this happened to anyone else?
I wrote another thread about how well DS sleeps on his belly but we decided not to do that in fear of SIDS.

It could be a number of things: a growth spurt, teething or he's about the reach a milestone. Perfectly normal for this to happen a few times in the first year.

I am almost certain he is teething!
Is there anything I can do to help him sleep better?

YES! ds is 3 1/2 months and from 3 weeks till 2 1/2 months he slept from 6-9 hours straight, nursed and went back to sleep for a 3-4 more hours. it was awesome. but for the last month he wakes after 5 hours and then is up every hour on the hour. i swaddle, nurde, try to binkie but nothing helps. i just got sick b/c i'm so run down. i'm at my wits end and we're going on vacation next week and my 2 year old and the baby will be in the same room with us and i'm expecting a nightmare.

If you do a search on here, you'll see alot of babies go through a sleep regression at 4 months.

Yep. This is very common. They're becoming more aware of their surroundings at that age.

Yep. DD is 7 months, and hasn't STTN in about a month.
Last night she was up at 2:30 and again at 5. I am like a zombie today--mostly because I stay up till 1, and that presents a problem.

i am going through this right now. DS slept through the night for two months now he is waking up 2-4x per night sometimes more. just for a pacifier.. it drives me nuts.
last night he woke at 3 and 5 and then woke up for the morning at 8. he goes to bed around 8-9pm.
We have tried cio.. its working a little...
good luck..i know just how you feel

That was DS's schedule! He went to bed at like 8:30. Then he woke up at 11pm, 3am, 5am, 6:30am, and then finally woke up for good at around 7:00.
