Active Mold?
Does a seller legally have to reomve active mold if they have it in their attic?
He did it after our insepction showed it and we told him about it, but now he's asking us for some money towards it! Isn't it fully his responsibility?

Re: Active Mold?
I would think the seller would be responsible for that. What does your lawyer say?

Re: Active Mold?
I'm so dumb, I didn't call him. Thanks, I will. We assumed and heard it was his FULL responsibility, he took care of it but now is asking if we'd contribute to the cost.

Re: Active Mold?
Legally I don't think he is required to remove it by law, but the lawyer should put it in the contract that they take care of it.
