Ok - AF experts, I have a question...

I had Ryan almost 13 months ago. I EBF'd so AF did not return until Ryan was 7 and a half months old.

At that time, I went right back to my old 28 day cycle.

Until 3 cycles ago. When I got AF only 19 days after her previous visit.

I was under a lot of stress with some family issues plus weaning Ryan from BFing so I chalked it up to stress/hormones.

Until this morning. When I wake up and realize she's back, only 19 days later AGAIN.

What gives? Do I need to go to the doctor?

you know i have short cycles too. i never went to the OB but i did start taking vitamin b complex and i think it worked to lengthen my LP, which in turn made my cycle longer.

short cycles were the whole reason i went on BC in the first place when i was a teenager.

i would definitely see your OB, it could be nothing but better safe than sorry right

My schedule was right on time for the first few months and then, BAM, AF arrives whenever she pleases. I talked to the dr about it and she said that it will take time for my body to get back into a routine. the pill is supposed to help, but I switched pills b/c the ones she put me on weren't covered by my insurance. When I changed pills AF got even more messed up (AF arriving every 20ish day and spotting in between.) I'm gonna talk to her aboug it at my appointment next week.

If might just take time for your body to get back on shedule. If you are concerned, call the dr and ask to speak to someone on the phone just for a consult. If they need to see you they will ask you to come in.
