Boy name poll!
Middle name will be Patrick for all of these but I'm not that concerned about the 'flow' (DS's middle name is... ahem... Murry) - it's for my grandfather and I only 'middle-name' DS when he's in trouble
DS's name is Colin if that has any bearing on this.
I put an other if you'd like to offer up suggestions of the same vein.
ETA: my DC are half Irish, half Jewish. I'm a little weary of any super Irish sounding first names since Patrick will be the middle name should this be the child that comes out looking like he should be an Ira or an Avi

Love Reid! Brendan Patrick sounds very irish and Harris is more jewish if you were concerned about being too one way or another.

Really? I don't know any other Brendans but my brother. Is it gaining more steam with the younger generations? I know Braydon is popular. I think Brendan is ranked in the 200's for name popularity.

Braydon / Braeden is definitely more popular, you're right. Brendan is popular in relative terms - v. Reid or Harris. I'm also afraid of the "Brandon?" confusion with Brendan. Does your brother get that a lot?

Maybe once in a blue moon, but I don't remember anyone ever really confusing his name. Me on the other hand, people would call my Kitty all the time

I like all of your names - Reid is my favorite - I think it sounds great with Patrick!
Jake was at the top of my list of  names. I never could get DH on board with it - but if we ever have a boy, I'll keep trying.

I know it sounds really irish...but I really like Brendan Patrick....If you switched it around I would like Patrick Harris - but I'm not sure how I like Harris Patrick.
What about Harrison....that sounds better to me.
