How much should I expect for this project? Also, anyone have an honest, reliable electrician??

Re: Anyone upgrade their electric panel recently?
i just priced it out to be 2k (three estimates) seems like it would be full day's work for our rusty original 50 amp service. Do not know which electrician we are using yet though - SORRY!

Re: Anyone upgrade their electric panel recently?
We upgraded to 200 amp and added a mast for the wires on the side of the house AND had outdoor lights and outlets added and it only cost us a little over $2K for all of that - so I am sure it is less for just the upgrade. We are really happy with our electrician too. FM me if you want his info!

We did ours 4 years ago I forget what we paid but the people we used were great. My mil has used them for years. It's Peer Lombardo and they are located in Deer Park. OOps its Peter not Peer. Sorry

My dad just did ours for us but I heard that $2000 is about the average price.

Re: Anyone upgrade their electric panel recently?
We upgraded ours to 200 amp last year & I believe that it cost $1,600 for that portion of the work. We had the electrician do a bunch of other work too (add home runs to the kitchen, etc)...
