Is this big enough to be a bedroom

ETA: sorry - posted without a question

12'x8'?

It would be a nursery when it is used, when its not used, will be an office... Thoughts?

Re: Is this big enough to be a bedroom

My DD's room is tiny, probably not more than 8x10 and her nursery stuff fits in there fine. Not sure about a "real" bed though, haven't gotten that far yet.

Re: Is this big enough to be a bedroom

Does it have a real closet, a window and a door? I would measure out a twin bed, a desk and a chair and if all can fit then yes, if not, then no. HTH

this is about the size of my DC room and we have two cribs, a dresser, and a rocker. It is tight but it all fits.

Re: Is this big enough to be a bedroom

It has a window but no closet - We have 3 bedrooms in the house now - it will make a 4th, only thing is currently one bedroom is downstairs and two are upstairs.. SD is TOO young to be downstairs by herself (at 6 y/o) - while everyone else sleeps upstairs.. KWIM?

I think once the wall is closed up and I can visualize what the room will look like I will feel more secure with it... Thanks for your feedback.

Anyone have pictures of bedrooms these size? With furniture set up?

TIA

My DD's bedroom is pretty small, about 8x10, but her nursery furniture fits in there very nicely and I actually love the way it looks. I don't have any pics right now since I'm out of town, but it's definitely not too small to be a bedroom.
