It is 2 bedrooms, 1 bath. There is a pool on the premises. Pets are allowed. There is a washer/dryer in the unit. Pergo floors throughout. We redid the bathroom when we purchased the place 2/3 years ago. The rooms are great sizes. Lots of closet space. It has a gated front porch. CAC. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures but if you are interested you can FM me and you can see it in person. We are asking $1800 plus utilities per month. Water is included. It is really a great place.

Have you tried Craigs list or the pennysaver?

Personally, I feel that you are asking for too much $$.
This maybe why you are having trouble renting it....

We got our current tenant from craigslist & I put up another add today. Honestly, the lowest amount we could charge is $1700. The mortgage has to get paid.

sorry to barge in, but i think $1800 is totally reasonable. DH and i were paying $2100, utilities not included, for a 2 bed 2 bath apartment in massapequa that had parkay floors and all new nothing Chat Icon Chat Icon

Yeah, but thats not Central Islip

It isn't a bad area. It isn't in the heart of C.I. it is right off of the expressway/motor parkway. It is a really nice complex and very well maintained.

no, it was on the border of amityville, and IMO those areas are comparable.
