Donating Furniture
We just bought a new couch and want to donate our old one, if we can't bring it to, say, the Salvation Army ourselves, will they come pick it up?
Anyone have any info? TIA!

Re: Donating Furniture
I've donated furniture to the Salvation Army, The Veteran's and Big Brother's Big Sisters over the past year. They all pick-up. You just need to call for a pick-up date. They tell you when to be home or you can leave the stuff outside.

Re: Donating Furniture
It has to be in MINT condition for places to take it these days.

Re: Donating Furniture
Thanks for the info.
Its in excellent condition... I'm actually really sad to get rid of it, but we have no where to put it and we don't want to save it and put it in one of our parents basements.
