OMG this is crazy,how the he!! can they do this!!!

There is a construction going on around the corner from us, (house we are renting is the 2nd house from the corner)They have been drilling and banging since it got nice out, which I have no problem with, whatever, BUT
past 2 days, I am not sure what is it that they are doing , I don't know if it's a drill or a truck or what, but the house has been literally shaking and vibrating NON STOP, you can REALLY FEEL it whether sitting or standing, it feels like a non stop earth shake(not even talking about the loud sound, that's a whole other post,lol) . It started yesterday morning. DD hasn't been able to take a nap for more than few minutes and then wakes up screaming and I can't relax for a sec bc I feel like the house if gonna come down on us or something. Here is the worst part, DD's picture on the wall just fell on the floor from all the vibrating. and the walls are making strange sound, like they are ready to crack or something

If you are renting, I would let your landlord know ASAP. I would also go out and tell the foreman of the construction crew this. I would follow up the complaints in writing.

Is it "town" construction? I would call the town. That's nuts. What if you got cracks in your wall? I would think that they would be responsible!

What you describe is the reason I sold my house and moved out of Queens!! You can call 311 and file a complaint.

told landlord and told them, and said I don't want to be responsible for any cracks they might get in their walls.
