Where did you go for JHS and how much did it run?
I am going to look into getting it done this summer. I have some questions:
Where did you go?
How much was it?
Can I go swimming and do all that stuff?
What if my hair is colored?- Do I need to wait?
Thank you ladies I want it done ASAP!

JHS is more popular then ever now .
I am going to look into getting it done this summer. I have some questions:
Where did you go?
I go to a great place in Queens. Use to go to Top Point, but now go to place where it is cheaper and it is comes out as good, if not better. Just had it touched up yesterday,
How much was it?
150.00 for any length.
Can I go swimming and do all that stuff?
Yes, but you have to wait at least 3 days until you can wet your hair.
What if my hair is colored?- Do I need to wait?
Yes, but you need to wait about two weeks after you color it to do the JHS.
A lot of ladies who live in LI go to a place called New Mode in Planview. If you live in Queens, popular places to go are- Hair Village, Top Point, Hair IB and JJ's.

I got it done at New Mode in Bethpage. Kim did it. I paid $250 plus tip. I didn't LOVE it until I got it trimmed a week and a half after I had it done because I thought my ends looked dead (my hairdresser explained they were "chemical ends") and my layers were cut to flatter my curly hair so they totally needed to be adjusted.
Now I LOVE it!!

I go to top point in flushing
$190 for a full head
$150 for the roots
I have been going there for a few years- and I used to go to more expensive places - but top point is much better imo

Hmm...I think Top Point might be the not only wallet friendly but a well sought after choice. So do you think I should dye my hair now again and wait a few weeks to get it straightened... or the other way around? Also how long will I need to stay at the salon?

Hair Club IB, $150 + tip. If you want a haircut too then $170. Plus there's free valet parking!
I've been there twice, most recently last week, and had awesome results. Used Sunyoung this past time and I think out of the 4 times I've done it, this is the BEST!

I've also been to Top Point twice and had great results. But paid $230 there + tip + parking ($10 in quarters). I used Janice at Top Point.

oh wait you can get JHS even if you color your hair? one of the girls at work said if you color your hair you cant do it.

Yes you can. You just have to tell them that you color your hair so they use the proper chemicals for color treated hair.

THANK YOU!!!!! yea one of my coworkers just had it done and I said oh its nice I want to do this and she said you cant you color your hair, I was like oh bummer, but thank you, now I can!!!!
