Would you return the product?

I bought a product for $70 at ulta. I used it once and it does NOT work at all. I'm kinda mad b/c it was so much money. if it was $12 I wouldn't care. I would chalk it up and say I knew it. But considering it was so much money I thought it might actually work. It actually worked well while the product was in my hair, but after it was washed out it didn't work at all. (it is supposed to work for 30 days after washing it out) and I followed the instructions exactly as it said.

Ulta has a great return policy, of 60 days with receipt.

I just don't know if its "wrong" b/c I used basically half the product as the instructions tell you to, on the 1st application (I still have all original packaging)

So should I return it, or just keep it and learn my lesson??

If the product did not work, I would definitely return it. Perhaps call the store manager first and explain what happened. I am sure they will work with you. Good luck Heather!

Re: Would you return the product?

definitely return it! if it was completely used they may not accept it, and you may have to return it to the manufacturer (i don't know how the product works).

either call ulta and speak with a manager or go to a store. i've always found them to be very helpful.

Re: Would you return the product?

a few years ago I got sick of throwing $ out the window by buying makeup and other beauty type products that didn't work. so I started returning things and I have yet to be told that I can't return the USED item. This includes every drug store I can think of on LI and places like Sephora and Ulta, even Bed, Bath & Beyond. you really can return just about anything, as long as you have the receipt.

RETURN IT!

$70 or $7, why should you be out the money? Ulta will send the product back to the MFG and get reimbursed.

I would definitely return it. I've returned things at sephora after using the product for awhile and never feel bad or guilty.

Return it- it's not wrong at all.
They have that policy so you don't get stuck with pricey products that don't do what they claim.
Happens to me all the time.
Go for it!

Re: Would you return the product?

I would return it. I have bought shampoo from Ulta that I wasn't sure about and they have said to me try it, if you don't like it just come back and return it. So I have.

BUT . . . to boot. I believe this takes several treatments until you start seeing results. My gf's Aunt has horrible horrible hair. She happens to go to the hair salon that I go to. When the salon first started doing keratin treatments she was the guinea pig and it took several treatments to see results and she is addicted because her hair is so much better, and TRUST me when I say this, IT is 90% better.
