Best place to sit on a plane with an infant?
Any recommendations on where I should sit with an infant? Aidan will be 10 months old when we fly. We're flying Jet Blue Airbus 320. I appreciate any input.

We are taking our 12th flight with DD on Saturday(she is 2 1/2) and DS second flight (at 4 mths) so we have definately BTDT- I vote for back of the plane near the bathrooms. If it is a larger plane, you can get up and walk around a bit with them which helps restless babies. I will be honest that age was the WORST flight with my DD. She was awful

When we took DS to Disney we got the first row after business class - lots of leg room and no one in front of us. Worked out great.

Re: Best place to sit on a plane with an infant?
We just flew with Nicholas last week, he's 7 months. On both flights we flew Jet Blue and sat in the 2nd row of the plane. I would definitely recommend sitting in the front, it was great and he was a happy boy both flights. I sat in the window and my hubby was in the middle seat. He loved the tv monitors and looking out the window. The flight attendants were also very attentive to us since they were always up in the front where we were seated.

I haven't flown with DD yet, but this got me thinking. I can see + and - for both options.
Sitting in the front: can board last & exit first, so that's nice.
Sitting in the back: not as many people walking past you, so possibly less germs (possibly!)

see i think this spot is a horrible spot. Yes you have tons of leg room, but you can't store any of your bags on the floor or in front of you. They all have to go up top. I like to have my cr*p out and lined up when it comes to Jacen.
ETA: we've always sat towards the front, around where the wings are. I could care less about germs when i fly. I just want to make it through the flight with jacen and still be alive.

I'm not a fan of sitting anywhere near the bathroom so I would request bulk head seats when you check in. There is more room and you get off faster.

I don't like anything near the bathrooms.
We've flown a lot with DD, at all ages. I will say before she was mobile it was much easier. Once she could walk (even if only by holding onto my hands), is was tougher to keep her busy in the seat. I would also recommend a window-DD liked looking out. Good luck!

Re: Best place to sit on a plane with an infant?
When we flew jet blue we took the seats in the row before the exit row. The window seat doesn't recline so no one else reserved that seat. We were able to put DS and his car seat there.
