Very Annoyed..

Ok...so my DH and I rent a townhouse. We just moved in on May 17th. 2 days ago, like 5 of our outlets stopped working, along with 5 different light switches. I called the landlord and left a message explaining it to him. I told him we checked the fuse box and we couldnt figure it out. I said I dont know if you want to come check it out or call someone to come check it out. He NEVER called back. In the mean time, they all started working again, but seriously is this what I have to look forward too. My DH says next time we will call him like 3 times and if no call back we will call someone and take what we had to pay out of the rent, can we do that?

I have no idea if you can, but I would want to do the same thing. Maybe when you call the 3rd time with no call backs I'll let the landlord know that you intend to call someone and will take that $$ out of the rent. See how fast the LL calls back then.

If that happens again, push the "reset" button on the outlets that have one. That used to happen in my old townhouse and pushing the button rectified it.
