Mulch question and thanks to all of you....
So, I first want to thank all of you who have recently posted about mulch. All I ever knew about it was that it smelled bad to me. I never knew it came in different colors and helped keep in moisture, etc. I learned that all from you ladies and gentlemen. That being said, I went out and bought a whole bunch of black mulch for my flower beds that tend to dry out quickly. Well, it made my beds look so gorgeous! I have had neighbors stopping by and telling me they've never seen our house look so great We just moved in last year, so this makes us feel really great since they all loved the woman who lived here. Ok, now my question: I have two spots in my garden where I planted bulbs (gladiolas). Can I mulch over that and the bulbs will come through? Or should I just leave it until the bulbs come up? I'm still new to this gardening stuff TIA!

I believe it will come through!
My DH threw sod over my gladiolus and they popped through the rug of grass....So I am sure it will be able to get through
