Those that dont swaddle their newborns at night...how do they sleep?

Those that dont swaddle their newborns at night...how do they sleep?
Just wondering. Do they wake themselves up from their arms always moving and flailing?

Very good. Colin slept the night (5-6 hours) from day 1. I started using the swaddle me blanket but always left his arms out. He loves to have them by his face. Then we went to the sleep blanket shortly after he seemed more comfy in it.

my dd is now 3m and the whole hand flying around didnt start until about 2m.. and yes it wakes. Its not all the time, only when its close to time for feeding or when i put her down after feeding.. and pretty much wakes her b/c it will knock out her paci.

DD didn't that is why we swaddled until 4 months. Even after that she still flailed around!
