Re: Mortgage Rates??
Bethpage and Astoria offered us the best rates no points. FM me if you want the name of someone at Astoria who I found very helpful.

Re: Mortgage Rates??
We closed on our house two weeks ago. We narrowed down our lenders to Astoria, BFCU and TFCU. TFCU often had the best rate (I checked each of them daily), but we heard too many horror stories about their incompetence and slow turnaround time, so we were scared away. We ended up going with Astoria and got a fantastic rate.

Re: Mortgage Rates??
We are using Bank of America. They gave us a great rate, much lower than anything we've seen advertised.

Re: Mortgage Rates??
We went with TFCU. They were by far the best rate (we closed with 4.5% last month, and bought down to 4%), but they did take a couple months since they were so swamped.
