What about chicken? Mind you that I have had this machine for 6-7 years and NEVER sprayed it but I wonder if it might make clean up easier as well?

That's so funny! I was going post tonight and ask if anyone has an easy way of cleaning the George Foreman!
I answer to your question. I never use any spray but now I'm thinking it might help with the clean up.

Yeah, I've never used spray either, but I think I may start. I hate cleaning that thing.

I never did....maybe I should to ease clean up!
When I'm done, I put a damp paper towel in it to loosen all the grime and it makes cleaning easier

I always thought it was so easy to clean....turn it on, let it get hot and wash it down with a wet paper towel.....I didn't know they made one with removable plates....

This is exactly what we do, except it's a littler wetter than damp. Makes everything come right off!

Re: Probably the wrong place to post this topic but I need an answer quickly...
We alwasy spray our grill with Pam before cooking, and we've had it for over 3 years now. It's still a pain to clean though, but we picked up these grill scrubby sponges at Bed Bath and Beyond that are specially made for cleaning non-stick surfaces like the GF grills, griddles, etc. It works wonders! Now I don't have to use a whole roll of paper towels to clean it! Just put hot water on the sponge, wipe the grill off, five seconds it's done! That new GF grill is awesome too!! We got one for Craig's parents this past Christmas, I just wish that was around when Craig and I registered!

DH does that, although we received for my shower, the foreman with the removable grill, haven't used it yet (will unpack it all when we move), but he does it to make cleaner easier....its still a pain in the u know what.

Re: Probably the wrong place to post this topic but I need an answer quickly...
I actually find it tough sometimes to get the spray off my pans that has not come into contact with food, so I don't put it on the grill. Sometimes I spray the food instead - like veggies or lowfat things. Meats usually have enough fat that they are pretty easy to wipe off with the wet paper towel or cloth.
