JC Penny Furniture

I was wondering if anyone got has gotten furniture from them and do they deliver it and do they put it in the bedrooms and set it up. I was looking on the website and it seems like they just drop and leave it by the door.

I got a couch from them. they just drop it off and leave, you have to put it together yourself.

I got a kitchen table and chairs from them and 2 sofas, and the furthest they would bring it was my garage

We ended up hiring a local moving company to come and carry the couches into our house because they were way too heavy for my Mom and I (DH was away when they came). It was really inexpensive to do this --- $75, and well worth it (rather than DH or me pulling our back out trying to move)!

I got a couch and it was delivered all the way inside. However I ordered and entertainment center and had to put it all together and it was only dropped to the porch. What I think if it is onsale in the showroom they will deliver it to your house all together. But if it's in the catalog you have to put it together i.e. baby crib, etc

I order a crib from them and they were ****** that they had to bring it up # flights of stairs to our condo. Best believe after three failed attempts to deliver they refuse to put it together.

My kitchen table is from JC Penney and they brought it into my kitchen and put it together.

If you order online they will drop it off at the door ONLY.

If you order from the STORE they will bring the pieces to your bedroom, unbox & essemble anything that needs to be. When we ordered the only thing that needed to be essembled was the bed & the mirror on the dresser. I'd HIGHLY recommend ordering from the store.

- The furniture in the store & online are NOT the same. Completely different.

We bought a tv armoire, coffee table, and end tables from the JCP store and they delivered and set everything up in our living room. I've been really happy with the quality of the furniture too.

we bought everything from the store and the guys put it all together and set it up. I was so happy with them.

I bought bedroom furniture in the store. They delivered it, put it together, and brought it into the bedroom.

There was a scratch on one piece, I told the driver, he had me call a number while he was there. They offered me $75 off my bill to keep it scratched, or they would deliver a new piece. I had them deliver a new piece a week later.

it might depend where you order it from... we ordered from the store in NJ-- we got a couch and bedroom set (bed, 2 nightstands, a tall dresser, and a dresser with mirror), they carried both into the house for us, and set up the bedroom set,too.
we were very happy with it all. they even came back a few days later to exchange a mattress because we had gotten a pillow top mattress with a regular box spring and it was just WAY too tall for me to get into LOL so we called them, and they came back a few days later with a special "1/2 height" boxspring.
