Dyson DC23 canister?
Anyone have this vacuum? Our upright is on it's last legs and our cannister is an electrolux from 1960 (literally). We have 2 dogs and mostly wood floors, but also have an area rug and 2 carpeted rugs so I need something that will do both. I'm willing to spend the money but I want to make sure it's worth it first!!

The DC23 is Dyson's best canister vacuum... It replaces the DC21 which I owned and liked but the filter system on the DC23 is what Dyson calls a Level 3 Root Cyclone™ technology... Also Dyson just brought here to the US the popular Dyson DC22 sold in Japan which has the new Dyson digital motor. That's the one I want now...

Oh good to know! So the dc22 is a better vacuum? I just found it online and it's a little cheaper then the dc23.

Yes, but make sure if you get Moterhead model and not the Turbinehead. The Turbinehead model is fine if you have hard surfaces.

Oh ok, that was the dfference. The one with the motorhead is $799 so I'm probably going to stick with the DC23 motorhead. Thanks
