Suggestions for inexpensive (smaller) gifts
I can get my 3.5+ yr old from the baby when the baby is born....
DS bought the baby a few "small" little toys (which he picked out himself) and I would like for the baby to do the same for him...
(I fear with everyone bringing gifts to the baby, I dont want DS to feel "left out"
I was def. going to do a coloring book and crayons, but what else?

Is he into Thomas? I got Jared two Thomas the Trains when Nikolas was born.
If he's into Cars, then how about getting him the color safe markers and coloring books?

puzzles, play doh. Go into the dollar store on portion road by the Sears hardware, they had tons of stuff for kids. I got Amanda 2 hockey sticks yesterday for $1 each (thanks to RJ she wanted them ) They had a lacrosse stick, plastic tennis racket, hula hoops, etc.

-A'Big Brother" shirt -books about being a big brother - or a special one that you guys can read together -a tool set -craft kit (Michaels has tons, my son loves glueing the wooden models together & painting them with me) - a coupon book, with things he loves to do with you or dh (movie night: we go pick out a movie from the library, get in our pjs, turn the lights down & eat popcorn)
