I just got the nissan rogue. So far I love it but I've only had it a little over a week. I got it at star nissan in bayside. I leased it and did bargain a little. I believe the base model of the rogue starts at $21k. HTH

We have the Honda CR-V...we love it and are looking into getting a trunk cover (I guess the only thing that kinda bothers us) We got it at Bronx Honda and did bargain..we used a system called Fighting Chance and it was the best $40 we spent...highly recommended (and how we ended up in the Bronx, but the service was excellent as well as the price)

Not sure if you're looking for one with a 3rd row - I got that option because I have 2 kids.

I have the Buick Enclave. I have the 7 passenger one, with captain's chairs in the 2nd row. Of all the vehicles I've owned or ever driven in (and that's a lot!), it is the smoothest and quietest ride of any car!

Re: for those of you who have a crossover

I just got the nissan rouge I have had a month and I love it. I actully bought it off a dealer on ebay a fully loaded 08 with 10,000 miles for $21,000. Its great and the kids love it also i only have 2 kids but they have room in the back so they are not on top of eachother.
good luck

not sure if its considered a crossover or more an SUV... but i have a 2006 toyota RAV 4 and LOVE it! good on gas, roomy without being TOO huge, comfortable and drives more like a car than a truck...

i live in NJ so i got it at a dealer here. We tried to negotiate, but couldn't too much because it was the first year they came out with the new, bigger body style for the RAV. so there wasn't much room to negotiate.
i paid about $25,000 and its fully loaded- 6 disc CD changer, auto temp control, sunroof, remote start...

Re: for those of you who have a crossover

i have a nissan murano - i really like it, the rogue seems a lot smaller to me especially if you have kids/carseats - i think that the maxima is probably wider than the rogue
