I happen to like this dress and was wondering if you think I can wear it to my nephew's communion party at Leonards on a Sunday afternoon.. ETA.. I added shoes I like..

What's the material? it looks kinda casual but depending on the fabric and the right accessories I suppose it could work.. a fun belt could significantly change the "look" of the dress

It's actually cotton.. and I was thinking of pairing it with a chunky black belt and Sandles

definitely think a belt would be needed to dress it up. that can change the outfit completely with some jewelry too!

IMO cotton is just to casual for an event at a place like Leanords.
Its a cute dress for a backyard communion but not a catering hall one

I love it! But I agree with the other posters..its a little to casual. But thats an easy fix..a belt, stilletos and jewelry will dress that right up!

I agree and especially given that it looks very short from the picture. Also, I do not like those shoes with this dress. Sorry!
