Blackberry Storm
Lately I've been hearing a lot of people telling others not to get the Storm. I was wondering what the reasons are behind this? Anyone have the Storm and not happy with it? I want to get one when I'm eligible for an upgrade in June, but I'd like to know why so many people warn others not to get it. Thanks!

Re: Blackberry Storm
traditional black berry users and more business oriented people dont like the storm because of the response time and accuracy when press keys. with changing some settings, some issues can be resolved. Most people try to use it out of the box and will complain. There are some other issues but thats because its new.
pretty of verizon, try it for 2 weeks and then make up your mind...change settings, update your favorite auto corrected words, etc..
the curve is still a great product

Re: Blackberry Storm
I have the Storm and really have no complaints at all. There are settings to change that allow you to determine the sensitivity of the touch screen. Even my DH, who has fat thumbs can master the touch typing.
I can see how it would be harder if your used to having actual keyboard keys to press. But it doesn't take long to get used to it.
Overall, I am happy with it!

Re: Blackberry Storm
I have it, and only use it when I'm overseas. I used it for a month and found it frustrating so I went back to my Pearl.
Whenever I would be on a call on the Storm, I would inadvertently be muting someone or putting them on speakerphone.
