Re: If you reg at BRU - what highchair did you

i have a FP rainforest chair at home and i LOVE it. extremely easy to clean and has held up SO well thus far (DS is 18 months). it's big, but the positive aspect of that is that it still feels really safe as DS gets bigger.

we are currently at my in-laws' house and using a peg perego prima pappa and i REALLY don't like it. first of all, my 18 month old has figured out how to stand up in it and try to climb out Chat Icon then there is a split in the tray (hard to explain, but trust me!) where food gets caught and is extremely hard to get out. totally gross Chat Icon

Jen -- so I originally told you I registered for the one you just put in a regular chair but now I realize how often we use all our chairs so I switched and registered for this one. $150

If money wasn't an issue, I would register for the Stokke Tripp Trapp. I love that highchair! $340

I also have the FP Rainforest, as does my sister. Even though it's so busy, it's easy to clean and DS likes the toys.

Rachel - where is the tray? Chat Icon

There is no tray, the child eats at the table with the rest of the family. I never had a tray for my son, I just sat him at the table (mind you, he never ate anything) But IMO its the best piece of baby kit out there.

I have a slightly different one, called a Babydan Chair, but I love it, and would never again buy a plastic high chair.

I LIVE for my highchair. It's one of the best baby items we got. It folds away in 2 seconds and it is so nice not to always have it out. DS is so comfy in it, it wipes down totally clean AND it was pretty cheap!

We didn't want a big, bulky highchair so we decided on one that could be strapped to our dining room chair. The FP Space Saver:

I did this one too!
