I would think do what fits his personality. Like if he likes sports add a bat, ball glove etc. If he plays with trucks add a big dump truck. HTH

This is a small shoot I did the other day. Overalls with no shirts and a big basket. I am a su cky photographer but maybe this will give you an idea

Love the old car idea... I actually am scheming to get the kids down to the shop where my FIL has an old 1929 Pontiac and take some pics there, as well as with some of the newer cars. All very fitting for my DH

love the classic car idea! is there anywhere around with a tractor or other farm equipment? that would be cute too. a farm near me in NJ has old tractors that the kids can sit on.

the thing is, all things have been done before- the cars, the ties, lets live on the edge....i am taking all my boys to a little place- a gift from a friend...
think: a lotta dirt, construction site, boys in wife beaters and beat up jeans, sitting in the pocket of a bull dozer or on the huge wheel of some other construction vehicle....
bring on the nice weather!!!!

The thing with Jack is he's really not a construction, tractor type of kid - think Ralph Lauren Sporty versus overralls/wife beater.
He's more of a khaki's/white polo/barefoot walk on the beach kind of kid!

They really are so adorable - I think we need to see more from this photoshoot! I remember being able to plop Jack anywhere and being able to take pics....oh the good old days!
