Anyone notice this about the Tide to Go Stick?

..that it STINKS like Azz?

Ugh- I just used it on my shirt to take out the stain where I dropped some blueberry yogurt. It took the stain out great but the scent of it keeps wafting up to me and it's making me sick.

It smells HORRIBLE.

I would expect it to have a nice smell- like Tide Laundry Detergent.
It's seriously nasty!

So, instead of one or two people noticing a small stain, an entire room knows that you've removed a stain? Seems to defeat the purpose of being "discreet".... Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Well I'm sure I'm the only one who can smell it- since it's on my shirt pretty high up and the scent is wafting straight to my nostrils...

But I can't understand why they can't add some fragrance to that sucker to make it smell slightly better!

The older the stick is the more it smells like barf IMO. It's gross... I try and get a new one every 3-4 months. Chat Icon

Agree. I live by these things. Love em but they do get old. I had one that smelled like @ss after a while too. I would just throw that one out and get a new one.

I noticed that it doesn't work! I only bought it once... failed my test, so I guess I don't have to worry about smelling like barf Chat Icon

I actually like the smell of the shout wipes better and IMO they work just as good. they were around around before the tide stick, so I used them. I bought a tide stick, and hated the smell, so I went back to the shout wipes. I also hated how the tide stick often left a wet mark on clothes even after it was dry.

Me too I hated it! It left an even bigger/more noticeable mark than the original stain made!

I noticed that it starts to smell when it gets older. When it's new it doesn't smell bad.

As soon as it starts to smell bad - I toss it and get a new one.

I wonder why. It's like it goes bad like food or something.
So odd

Ditto!

and I generally only wear cotton... which generally isn't a fussy fabric.

After that, it just hung-out in my purse, until it leaked Chat Icon

It's not cheap either. And I love how they give coupons for it in the Sunday paper coupons. It's like Save $1 when you buy THREE.
Yeah- I'll spend like $15 to save a measly dollar...Chat Icon
