i'll be honest i WANTED a VERY badly! and had DD! 
edited to add-i wanted a girl again this time but found out its a boy it took me by surprise for sure and it is still hard to imagine raising a boy! i hope i love it as much as raising a girl! i'm sure i will!

DH really wanted a boy and he may have been secretly disappointed just for a sec when we found that we were having a DD(he'll never admit it though,lol)
But now he always says can't imagine having a boy and wants another girl. DD is just such a little daddy's girl and he adores her

I sort of wanted a boy and even though we didn't find out the sex we were convinced that it was a boy. We were pretty surprised that it was a girl and honestly it took a couple hours for it to sink in!! Now that I have a girl, I absolutely love it and her of course!

didnt really care as long as baby was healthy...we all thought girl though just b/c i had bad m/s, so we were surprised (but happy) at the level 2, and now i LOVE having a and would love for my 2nd to also be a

I always wanted a boy first. I think because I have an older brother and tons of guy cousins..I always loved feeling protected and watched over! I was lucky to have one of each..now DS can protect and watch over DD!
ETA: We are done having kids..but If I were to have 3 kids..I would of loved another boy!

I "wanted" a boy and had a boy. I thought I only wanted boys but now that I have one I think a little girl would be fun.

We wanted a boy and had a boy, same with the second. This time we are having a girl which is a nice addition to our family. I'll just have to get out of the habit of calling everyone "buddy". She'll probably be princess.

I dont think I ever WANTED one over hte other simply because well before I was pregnant or even thought of TTC I was always convinced that I would have all boys. So when I got pregnant I just thought "I am having a boy"
LOL, I am the same way! I have always pictured myself as a mom of boys. I knew the second I got preggo I was having a boy and I would have been totally shocked at the level 2 if they told me it ws a girl. I have times now where I think I might want a girl, but I still see myself as a mom of boys and I am totally cool with that.

I REALLY wanted a first but a healthy baby was most important. I would have been very happy with a baby girl too...but I was so excited to have a boy! (And I knew DH would love a son...).
Second time around I wished for DS to have a baby brother...and we are getting just that!!
If we have a third, would I love a girl? Sure! I think having a daughter with two big brothers would be wonderful but would be just as happy to have another little guy. Doesn't matter, healthy is always most important

Sorry to crash but I had to answer this one. I'll be honest, I really wanted a VERY badly. We're having a and although it took a day or two to sink it, I couldnt be more excited now.
Although for our second child, I still would love a and hope that we have one. I would be sooo happy with one of each!

Of course I wanted a healthy baby. That is the most important thing. But I preferred to have a girl...not even then, just as long as I had one. So I would have been happy with a boy. Now I want a boy when I eventually have #2. But I would still be happy with a girl.

I always wanted a boy first...then I got pregnant and the first sonogram appt I held my breath and realized the sex didn't matter.
We were told girl and I was in love with the thought of her...found it was a boy and although sad that I had become attached to the thought of a little girl...I was thrilled to have a boy...ran out and bought everything blue I could get my hands on.
Very happy to have a child....grateful that he is healthy.

For baby #1 I didn't really care, for baby #2 I hoped for a girl because I had a boy (had another boy), then for baby #3 I *really* wanted a girl (and had one!).
I will say though, I have become more of a boy mom than I ever thought I'd be. You can surprise yourself!

But both boys are healthy and that's what matters the most.
