Swings that plug in?

Aside from the Graco Sweet Peace Soothing Center, are there any other swings that either come with the AC adapter or you can order an AC adapter?

TIA! Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Swings that plug in?

I also found no other than the Sweet Peace one.

My sisters never had a problem with the battery ones so I'm sure I'll be okay with it as well. But I have heard that plug ins are good. I'd think I'd want to move the swing to different locations depending on where I am so plug in would be limiting.

Re: Swings that plug in?

I registered for the Fisher-Price Butterfly Garden Papasan Cradle Swing, which plugs in. It is for girls and very pretty, but I'v been having a hard time deciding if I should keep it in the registry becuase I see so many conflicting reviews in the BRU site. some reviews are great, but some mention having problems with the motor so I am stil wondering if it is worthy to get a plug in swing.

Re: Swings that plug in?

we have a battery papasan and a FP power-plus plug-in....

both work well... he likes the plug-in less becuase the seat is more upright than the cradle shape of the papasan. if you can find a plug-in papasan, I think that would be a perfect swing.

on the flip side, while I thought the battery consumption of the papasan would be Chat Icon , it's really not THAT hideous...we go through 4D batteries every 6 weeks or so since he really fell in love with that swing.

I'd DEFINITELY prefer to pay for the batteries over giving up the papasan-style swing for a more traditional upright one... he's simply not soothed as much by the power-plus.....

HTH!

I have a Fisher Price swing that takes batteries OR plugs in. I believe it is called the PowerPlus Swing.External Image

I think the rainforest one plugs in. We have the power plus. I can't believe they don't make it anymore. It was so nice to have one baby toy that didn't need batteries.

Re: Swings that plug in?

Thanks for all your tips ladies!

I got a notification this morning that the Graco Sweet Peace was being discontinued so I was considering registering for something else. I think I will just buy the Sweet Peace before it goes away completely!
