2 month Ped. visit and Vaccines
Which vaccine did your baby get at his/her 2 month check-up?
Did anyone's child get Pentacel? Is this new?

I think she got DTP and HIB..
Baby book is in her room so cant check for sure.. shes napping.

we got pentacel, I think it's somewhat new. I THINK it is needed 5 times where the other common one is only done 4 times?

Chloe just went on Wednesday. She got the Pentacel (DTAP, Polio and HIB) I chose this combo shot instead of the other one (I think it's called Pediariax) because I didn't want to have her get a combo shot with the Hep B and then have to get another shot for the HIB. Doc was totally fine with me delaying Hep B (this is the only shot that I delayed) Pentacel was in one leg and she got a shot in the other let. I think it was Pneummacocal. Lastly she got the Rotovirus (oral). She didn't have any bad reactions other than being a little fussy and sleepy. Doc gave her a dose of tylenol right before the shots.

2 mo, he got DTaP, PCV, and hib.... We intend to delay vaccines of diseases that he's not likely to be exposed to in the US under normal circumstances (polio, hepB) until age 2.... but these 3 ARE crutial... the diseases are definitely out there... and life threatening to babies...

I'm confused with this Pentacel...that's the one my office does...
I guess I should have asked my doctor more questions, but I thought that was the standard one.
Pentacel is one shot with several vaccines right?

She only got HIB. I am only giving her one vaccine at a time. Next month will be the first DTP.

Nothing. I am starting them at the 3 month and she will only get 1 shot per visit. And it will be HIB.
