woman with severe shoe fettish please help me
I can not believe this is happening.. I am 7 mos pregnant and I just tried to put on a pair of my $560 prada pumps.. THEY DO NOT FIT AT ALL.. I have a very large designer shoe collection that range from Christian loub's, manolo's, jimmy choo down to Via Spiga.. Mostly 400 and up.. I would say at least 30-40 pairs including boots.. PLEASE tell me I will get back into these.. Has anyone had this happen to them and after birth they got back into there regular shoe size.. I will be so upset.. This has been a long time collection of mine that started many many years ago before I was married.. Single and could afford to do this.. They are all n there original boxes with dust bags.. They have all been worn many times but in excellent condition.. I reall dont think I could even sell them.. They are worn and you can see that.. Please tell me if anyone has had this experience.. What a waste of time and money..

ALL of my shoes fit me after i had my baby... i would say i could wear my sneakers right away, my flats and heels about 1-2 months later.
it takes time but i don't think you have to worry

My feet swelled during both my pregnancies, but I was able to get back into all my shoes post-partum.  (Thank god b/c I'm a 12 and the thought of trying to find bigger scares the crap out of me.  )

feet swelling is normal. im sure you'll fit right back into them after the baby is born. have no fear..your designer shoes will still be wearable!

My sister said she has gone up a 1/2 size since her children are born  .. I hope I am as lucky as all of you have been.. I really worked on this for many many years and I really am heart broken.. I am sure alot of people are  at this post.. So i thank anyone who responded to this.. and didnt judge me for being so upset over soething like this..

My foot went up a 1/2 size while I was pg..after both kids, I was back into my regular size! Don't worry,,,you are retaining so much water, it's totally normal for your normal shoes to not fit! Everytime we go to Italy, I have to bring some shoes 1/2 bigger, because my normal shoes end up not fitting me 1/2 way through out stay from all the salty food...even the water has sodium in it'

My sister said she has gone up a 1/2 size since her children are born .. I hope I am as lucky as all of you have been.. I really worked on this for many many years and I really am heart broken.. Who would roll their eyes at this? You obviously spent a large amount of money on some killer shoes, I'd be devestated if I couldn't get back in them...
But.. what size are you? I'd be happy to take them off your hands

Thank you!!  Well all my shoes are different sizes... I have from a size 8-9 depending on the designer.. What size are you??  Can I come visit them??

 7.8/8, but I don't mind wearing big shoes, so 9's won't be a problem

Ok this is the last time I was able to wear a different pair of prada I just bought in the beginning of the season.. I was 2 mos preggo but I bought them before I got preggo .. My dh loved them and took a pic and put it on his face book album.. I only wore them 3x how can I never wear these again!

My feet became extremely swollen during pregnancy. I was only able to fit into this one pair of brown keds with ZIPPERS. I think I went up about 2 shoes sizes. After giving birth, it took about 2 weeks, but my feet DID go back to normal and those brown keds were lost in the chaos of the labor and delivery of my baby girl. Good riddance!

i am totally drooling over those!!
i have heard about women going up a size after having their baby BUT i will say that none of my friends that ever had babies stayed that size... they were all back to their original size within a few week! don't worry just yet
and as for anyone who would flame you, i think you are quite blessed if this is what you worry about most and there should be no need for flames!

Yes they will fit again. It will take a while for your feet to get back to normal, might even take a year or so and there is a chance that SOME shoes won't fit the same any more though(depending on a style) same as clothes,lol. Your body including your feet changes so much after pregnancy. But don't worry about it now.
Just enjoy your pregnancy and swollen feet along with it , go get some comfy cheap shoes

Those are stunning! I also would be happy to take them off your hands!
I've never been preggo but people I know mostly went back to their original sizes-my mom claimed she didn't but I have no idea how true that is.
BTW-don't worry about being flamed-no flames from me-I have Manolos, Louboutins, Stuart Weitzmans, Moschino, Marc Jacobs, Tory Burch, Prada-you name it!-I have a medical condition which causes my feet to swell and I am on steroids and when my feet swell, they are hard to wear, but when the swelling goes down (and it will after you give birth), you should be able to wear them again-I can wear mine on good days!

Don't judge it by how the shoes fit when you are 7 months pregnant. Overall blood volume increases by about 20% when you are pregnant and it does not stay that way.

I didnt experience swelling and even wore heels till the day of labor..well my mom had to buckle those shoes thay day
You will be ok...and most will fit and ehem...****RAISING HAND**** Im an 8 too!
