Traveling to Florida with an 8 month old - stroller help!
I have a MacClaren and a snap and go. Do you think I need both? I feel like I like the snap and go for when DD is sleeping. I can pull down the shade in her carseat so the sun won't go in her eyes and she can fall asleep more easily.
We haven't used the MacClaren yet but I would think it doesn't have a shade that would come down to cover the sun..
What stroller do you suggest so that DD can get a few naps in while we are out and about?
Thanks!

We took ds to florida at 8 1/2 months and used only the maclaren. My quest reclines a bit and has a semi shade, but i think you can buy another attachment to extend it.
Either way, it's a whole new environment, new things and more stimuli... so ds slept in the stroller when he was tired and he never really does that anymore. Just lather her up with sunblock.

we took kaydyn to FL when she was 10 months. We just took the regular stroller. She liked to be sitting up and watching things and when she was tired we just reclined it and she fell right asleep.
If you're worried about the sun the as the PPs said then you can buy a shade attachment.

at 18 mos, I brought josh to FL, Triumph only. I paid 7.00 at BRU for a generic shade extension.

I say if she still fit in the infant carrier, bring that. This way you have the huge basket in the snap n go to hold your stuff (ie. diaper bag, souveniers) instead of hanging it on the stroller....which could tip.
(I've had to take my 8 month old out of the carrier already... ...it's way too easy..I miss it! lol)

Great, I have the grey and green MacClaren, not sure if that is the Quest or not. I didn't know about the sun extensions. They sell them at BRU? I will have to get one!
I am excited to hear you all used the MacClaren on trips and the babies fell asleep in them, that was my worry!
