Anyone with PCOS already do the 1 and 3 hour glucose tests?
I am wondering if I will definitely fail because I have PCOS and am insulin resistant....

I had GD with Maddie but didn't get diagnosed with PCOS until just recently trying to TTC number 2.
Not sure though just b/c you have PCOS that you will definitely have GD. My BF also has PCOS and did not have GD. And i know people who've had GD that hadn't had PCOS...
Maybe you might have a slightly disposition to it- but you still might get it.

Just b/c you have PCOS and are insulin resistant does NOT mean you will develop GD -
I didn't -
And my RE also told me that when he first diagnosed me and I asked that very question -

Hello, I have PCOS and I am on Met...I had to do the 3 hr test I think @ 10 weeks because my sugar level came back high and I passed it.
I think I have to do another one in a few weeks.

I'm wondering the exact same thing - but I won't have my tests for another few weeks. I plan on asking my Dr at my 20wk appt next wed.

crashing this board.....but I have PCOS and thought for sure I would have GD when I was pregnant with DS but I passed the 1 hour.

That makes me happy too b/c I have PCOS and I am in my 11th week. AT my ultrascreen appt. yesterday they found glucose in my urine and my sugar was high. They sent me for the 3 hours glucose test today. I should know the results tomorrow or Monday..I will keep you posted!! Good Luck!!

I have PCOS and I took the 1 hour just last week.
With DD I failed the 1 hour pretty badly (I was 4 points from NOT taking the 3 hour) but I passed the 3 hour with what they told me were really good numbers.
This time around I failed the 1 hour by 7 points and I have to take the 3 hour on Sat. I am crossing my fingers that I will pass it again this time.
BTW I have never had proteins or glucose in my urine with DD#1 or with this
