What does your 18-24 month old eat for breakfast?
I'm suddenly dealing with a picky eater in the mornings. We usually have oatmeal or eggs. Any suggestions? I need something quick and easy or that I can make ahead in batches and freeze or store in the fridge. TIA

Patti, Gracie loves Puffins cereal; mandarin oranges, any type of berries, toast w/ jam/jelly, yogurt, pancakes (here/there), waffles (here/there) & sometimes the Dole fruit cups (at nannys).

Re: What does your 18-24 month old eat for breakfast?
Pancakes are great for making batches. I make a batch at the beginning of the week and freeze them. Muffins I make a batch of too and they last about half the week. She also likes eggs, cereal bars and cheerios with milk.

Re: What does your 18-24 month old eat for breakfast?
Tons of fruit (usually at least three different types) and usually cereal or yogurt and milk. ETA: DS is 18 mos.. Also, he is not a big breakfast eater.

Re: What does your 18-24 month old eat for breakfast?
I like reading what everyone feeds their DC. I too am in need of new ideas.
DS will not let me feed him (he has to feed himself) so i have to limit everything to finger foods. He loves fruit...especially strawberries and mandarin oranges. he could eat a scrambled egg everyday, but i try to feed him no more than 4 eggs/week. cereal bars or cereal he likes cinnamon raisin bread with cream cheese. also he loves to dip things, so i give him waffles or french toast and he dips it into whipped cream.
ETA: he has milk every morning too...still from a bottle
   (he is 19 months old)

Re: What does your 18-24 month old eat for breakfast?
Either a Kashi Honey Oat waffle with apple butter or plain regular oatmeal made with soymilk and then then after I cook it I add in one 4oz container of cinnamon applesauce. She has a dairy and egg allergy so that's why it is apple butter. Sometimes I put strawberry preserves.

Re: What does your 18-24 month old eat for breakfast?
DD is a pretty good eater but the only meal she is kind of picky with is breakfast.
We do - plain scrambled eggs (sometimes with some veggies) with some cheerios (or piece of toast) and fruit.
Waffles and fruit Pancakes and fruit

Re: What does your 18-24 month old eat for breakfast?
Thought I'd add that DS loves to eat a piece of whole grain bread. He doesn't want it toasted or with butter, just right from the loaf.
He is a fan of grape flavor, so I tried to toast a piece of bread and add grape jelly. He scooped the grape jelly off and shoved it in his mouth. He left the toast untouched. Then he demanded a fresh piece of bread.
