When did your DC learn to twist a door knob to open a door?
Just curious....my DD hasn't done it yet.

Yesterday. 
But we don't have round doorknobs, we have the lever kind so I assume it's easier. We're going to have to put a padlock on the bathroom to keep this nosy one out of it!

Almost there  We've got round ones too and she's just attempting it. No success yet

About a month ago she figured it out (21 months). We have round knobs downstairs, and she's short, so she's only had partial success at it.

DD is 17 months and can open our lever handle door knobs (although for some reason she has only tried to open some of them, but fully capable of opening all of them). She can reach the front door knob and turn it, but isn't strong enough to open the door. We put a safety cover on it just incase.

He can open one of ours, it's round, but sort of loose and easy to turn. He's 15 months.

I think it's strange that my almost 2.5 year old can't open the door. I mean I am happy about it but just surprised. I'd have thought she'd have figured it out by now.

Last week!!!!! The toilet is safe no more!! We have lever door knobs-which I think are easier to open for ds!! He is 16 months!

 #1- 17-18 months
well before 2 she could pop off the plastic door knobs handles that were suppose to keep her from doing it
#2- 13 months old

DD started doing this a week or two ago. We have the levers.
She sometimes can open our pantry w/ a round knob.
