I had a C after over 24 hours of labor, 2 hours of pushing, a fever, ridiculously high blood pressure and all sorts of other complications (baby was fine.. I was the one with all the trouble). He only did the C after she STILL hadnt dropped after the two hours of pushing with no epi and me screaming and crying that I couldnt stand the pain anymore.
This was my worst fear, that's why I chose the C section. were you ok with this, or would you have wanted the c section earlier?
I was ok with it up until that last hour. I don't remember much because I had a horrible headache and couldnt think from it plus I was throwing up and having contractions every 1.5 minutes. I knew I was "done" and the stupid nurse wouldnt page my dr for another hour. As soon as he saw how bad I got, he called the C
