FIRST night with no bottle.....
I told DD "You're a big girl now, let's throw out your baby bottle" (actually I said "Ya eres muy grande para el bibi, vamos a tirarlo a la basura"  ).
She took it from me, walked over to the garbage pail, and put it in herself. She waved and said "bye bye".
We went upstairs, got in PJs, drank some milk from the sippy, brushed teeth and washed up.
Back in her room, a paci and 2 books, and I put her to bed. She was out in 5 minutes.
My big girl....I'm so proud of her!!

Awwww..... she was ready for it. I know it broke my heart when I first put Maddie to bed without her baba.
I'm so glad she was OK with it.

That's awesome! And just so you know, DS had a hard time giving up his bottles and drinking milk too. We had to get rid of the bottles around 14 months because he started biting the nipples completely off and I was worried he'd choke. At first he would only drink water or juice from the sippy cup, but now he'll drink anything. She'll get used to it.

OMG - she seriously is the best. Jack would have b!tchslapped me and then shoved ME in the garbage!
We had to use trickery all the way with him!
