2 under 2..when did you get rid of teh double stroller
I cant take this thing anymore.. DD will be 3 in Spetember DS willbe a year in April.. I was thinking of maybe getting rid of it after the summer and getting an umbrella stroller..what do you think?

i think it totaly depends on your 2 year old. if you went to the mall, how would she be if she wasnt in the stroller?

Well i have had her walk in stores and if I am being honest its not so much her as it is me.. its just so much easier to haveherina stroller

My son is almost 3 and i still use the double. If i let him walk, he would run...

I have a sit n stand, but in stores i either use my single stroller or a cart and i let my oldest walk or go in the cart.
I stopped using it for everything probably this winter, when DD was just 2.5.
She's pretty good about listening, and holds the stroller..I igive her 3 listening strikes..if she doesn't listen 3 times she goes in the cart and can't walk, and it's works pretty well for us.
I only really use the sit n stand now for walks.

My DS turns 3 on Saturday and just recently I've been letting him walk. I'm not ready to totally get rid of the stroller yet though because there are times I definitely need to strap him in.

I used the sit and stand until they were 2 and 4. There were also times I just put the younger one in the umbrella stroller and let the older one walk. It all depended on where we were going and for how long.

My older son gave up the stroller before he was 3 but my DD stayed it in for longer. She was 3 1/2 maybe a bit older, I can't recall exactly when. Your DD is not that big, if it's more convenient for you, keep using the double. You can still get the umbrella and use that in some situations but I'd keep the double till you absolutely are ready for her to walk all the time. It's not easy to juggle 2 small kids and you have to make your life easier sometimes and there's no harm in making it easier in this situation.

I have a Joovy but just bought a City Mini Double. My boys are 2 and 4. I felt that I needed another double stroller since we have 3 vacations planned this year including Disney. The Joovy wasn't cutting it anymore. My oldest walks most of the time but there are times when he still gets tired. I plan to get some use out of the City Mini but will be ok if I just end you using my single Maclaren.

I sold my double and bought my sit-n-stand when DS was 2 and DD was 10 months old. Now that DS is going to be 3 he is actually really good when I put him in the stroller if I just take him out in the single. He also sometimes ask to sit in the actual seat in the sit-n-stand. I am actually thinking of getting an umbrella double.
