Jason Mesnick apologize to fans
Jason Mesnick is very, very sorry.
The Bachelor star is apologizing to viewers and jilted fiancée Melissa Rycroft for telling her during Monday's After the Final Rose that he wanted to pursue a relationship with runner-up Molly Malaney. (Mesnick and Rycroft revealed this week that they actually broke up before the show, though that wasn't made clear to viewers during the airing.)
"I think what I want to do is to apologize to everybody out there," Mesnick said on Friday's Ellen DeGeneres Show. "All the fans of the show because — thank you for watching — but this was my real life and it was the hardest thing I had to do and I made some big mistakes and that's what I wanted to sit here and talk about today — the mistakes that I made.
"But in the end I found my true love," he added. "I really am happy right now and I know I hurt somebody that I never wanted to hurt and I really regret that."
He also said he regretted telling Rycroft about Malaney on-air, and denied being in touch with Malaney while he and Rycroft were engaged.
"I completely regret doing that. I regretted it every single day since that happened and I will regret probably every day for the rest of my life," he said. "The producers obviously really wanted me to do it on the show but I take full responsibility for my actions."
Malaney, who has been dating Mesnick for six weeks, told DeGeneres the couple has had a hard time with all the criticism of Mesnick's decision.
"Sure, this should be the happiest time for us right now but we're surrounded by so much negatively," she said. "We're just trying to stay positive and focus on what matters."
She also said she sympathizes with Rycroft.
"You know, there were moments where I sympathized with Melissa for sure," she said. "I was heart-broken by this guy too. So I know what she was going through, but I do give him (Jason) a lot of credit for doing what he did. Because he is standing up for what is best for him. I think if there is anytime to be selfish it's when love is involved."

The only people who need to accept his apology are Melissa and Molly.

The only people he owes an apology are the two girls. Yea he did it in front of millions of people, but the reason all those people watch is for the drama.
He needs to stop saying sorry

Well that is mighty big of you Molly 
They can deny it all they want. They were stupping when he was with Melissa!!! As far as I am concerned they deserve each other and did Melissa a favor!!

Yes i just read it..... doesnt surprise me that she now wants to be in the spot light. They will most likely bring the whole thing up several more times, while also making sure to show a close up of her new BF sitting in the audience there supporting her.
The poor me excuse for the entire season now, CANT WAIT!!!
