how did your DC react to the 2 month shots?
If your DC had all his/her 2 month vaccinations at the same time, did he/she have a fever? I've heard that you can give them some tylenol beforehand, but I'm wondering if its even necessary...last time around, when she had her Hep B shot at 1 month all she did was cry for a moment, I BF her, and she passed out for hours...if she did that will she react the same for the next round of shots? Or is it totally different? Hope you mommies can help! TIA!

Hey Lupe! Chloe just had her shots on Friday. We gave her the Tylenol beforehand and another dose about 5 hours later because she was cranky, but I don't even think that was necessary. She handled them pretty well.

Aidan cried for a bit but was fine. We didn't give him Tylenol beforehand and he didn's seem to need it.

Re: how did your DC react to the 2 month shots?
The only shot so far that ds has reacted to was the polio one.. However I did find out after the fact that if a child receives the oral rotavirus vaccine and they spit up on your hand then they can give you the virus because the vaccine contains live virus.... now that i would have liked to have known ahead of time

DS was very sleepy after his shots. Later that night, he felt slightly warm so I gave him one dose on Tylenol. I didn't need to give him any more after that.

DS has his 2 mos shots in a week and half. Our PED said not to give tylenol beforehand. Only due that if you know for a fact he'll run a fever (ie for the later aged shots).

Re: how did your DC react to the 2 month shots?
2 months, he cried bc he was so pizzed. Gave tylenol afterward, he was a little sore.
4 months, gave tylenol beforehand, and he only cried during 1 shot, and was smiling at us when we were re-dressing him. Fast forward to 4 hours later, he was unconsolable in Ikea bc his legs hurt.
No fever either time.

Ds was a crab and a half after his 2 mo shots. Very sleepy and whiny, but the tylenol helped.

The 2 month shots he was fine, the shots he got at 3.5 months gave him a fever for a few days and he was very fussy and sleepy for a few days.

Re: how did your DC react to the 2 month shots?
WE had no problems in the beginning. In fact, at 2 months, I think he barely noticed the needle in his chubby leg. As he got older, though, he cried more after the shot was given.
My DS really had no reactions to any shots other than the little lump on the leg right afterwards.
