Updated: Going for 20 week sonogram tonight!
Well, the ultrasound went great and we are having...
a boy!!!! 
We are so psyched! I guess my initial instinct was right! I originally thought it would be a boy...then a few weeks ago I started really believing it would be a girl. I practically had myself convinced - so last night was a bit of a surprise! But a great one of course! I didn't scan in the 'boy bits' print outs but there is definitely no mistaking 
Time to SHOP!

The truth is, I am just way too impatient!  It will help with name choosing, hehe. But also, I like the idea of being able to buy the things in the styles and colors we really want, instead of having to always go neutral. To each their own, I say!

do NOT let what other people say annoy you....seriously...
no matter how you slice it - if you KNOW or don't KNOW - when your baby comes out - there is one heck of a sense of SURPRISE, or WONDER... it is NOT lessened at ALL by whether or NOT you know about the sex....
i will be frank...my SIL & Brother didn't find out the sex. They had the baby and my brother came down and said it's a girl...I WAS THE ONLY one SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooo excited....everyone else (her parents, my parents, her friends) were like, I KNEW IT or, I WAS WRONG...there was no, overwhelming joy, like in the movie knocked up or anything...
enjoy the U/S and BE HAPPY WITH YOUR DECISION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And Jess, you are right. I guess I am just taking things too personally lately. I know I shouldn't but sometimes it's hard! But yes, this is a very personal thing for each of us and I'll try and remember that.

Either way people will always have something to say, in the beginning i wanted to wait so then they would say, well dont you want to know so you can prepare adn then when we changed our minds they say - well dont you want a surprise?

A friend of mine was pressuring me in to not finding out but we have decided that we want to find out! How annoying is it when people push their opinions/beliefs on you?! Then when we made the announcement that it was a girl, she made a comment like "Well, I guess you couldn't wait..." It was so rude of her.
Anyway, I know exactly how this feels and I'm sorry that you're going through this  Just remember that it isn't anyone else's decision but yours (and DH's if you'll let him  )

People have comments for everything, don't let it bother you for another second and enjoy the moment because it's going to be amazing finding out! And as you already know, this is coming from someone who's not finding out, I'm so excited for you, text me when you know!
